flavobacterium paronense sp. nov., isolated from freshwater of an artificial vegetated island.a gram-stain-negative, motile by gliding, yellow-pigmented bacterial strain, designated knus1t, was isolated from lake paro in korea. the phylogenetic tree based on 16s rrna gene sequences showed that strain knus1t formed a distinct lineage within the genus flavobacterium. strain knus1t was closely related to flavobacterium cheonhonense arsa-15t (96.8 %16s rrna gene sequence similarity), flavobacterium pectinovorum dsm 6368t (96.3 %) and flavobacterium dankookense arsa-19t (96.1 %). the major fa ...201626530258
Flavobacterium dankookense sp. nov., isolated from a freshwater reservoir and emended descriptions of Flavobacterium cheonanense, F. chungnamense, F. koreense and F. aquatile.A novel yellow-pigmented bacterial strain, designated ARSA-19T was isolated from a freshwater reservoir in Cheonan, Korea. Cells were Gram-staining-negative, rod shaped, strictly aerobic and positive for catalase and oxidase. The phylogenetic tree based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain ARSA-19T belonged to the genus Flavobacterium and was related to F. macrobrachii BCRC 17965T (96.5% sequence similarity), F. koreense KACC 14969T (96.2%), F. chungnamense KACC 14971T (96.1%), F. cheon ...201122140162
flavobacterium buctense sp. nov., isolated from freshwater.a gram-negative, non-gliding motile, aerobic bacterium, designated as strain t7(t), was isolated from freshwater of chishui river flowing through maotai town, guizhou province, southwest of china. based on the 16s rrna gene sequence analysis, the isolate was identified as a member of the genus flavobacterium and that shared less than 97 % sequence similarities with recognized flavobacterium species. its closest phylogenetic relative was flavobacterium dankookense (96.9 %), followed by flavobacte ...201526374244
