Prevalence of porcine circovirus-like agent P1 in Jiangsu, China. | ABSTRACT: Recently, we identified a novel porcine circovirus type 2-like agent P1 isolate from swine. The present study represents the first survey of P1 prevalence in swine herds from Jiangsu, China, by using PCR targeting the complete genome of P1. Prevalences of 50% and 19% were found among 6 herds and 248 animals, respectively. The results indicate a high prevalence of P1 in China pig populations. | 2011 | 22171842 |
evidence of porcine circovirus-like virus p1 in piglets with an unusual congenital tremor. | outbreaks of trembling and shaking were reported among pigs at two pig farms in jiangsu province, china. serum and tissue samples tested positive for porcine circovirus-like virus p1 and negative for classical swine fever virus, porcine circovirus type 2, astrovirus and porcine pestivirus using pcr/rt-pcr and immunohistochemical techniques. high p1 viral genome loads were identified in sera, brain and lymph node tissue samples by qpcr. in addition, one of the most notable pathological changes wa ... | 2017 | 29178610 |
porcine circovirus-like virus p1 in cattle, goats and rabbits in china. | porcine circovirus-like virus p1, a novel single-stranded circular dna virus, is a potential causative agent of post-weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome in swine. in this study, we detected p1 strains in serum samples from cattle, goats and rabbits suffering different clinical symptoms, in jiangsu province, china. we sequenced the whole genomes of six p1 strains, which showed 99.4%-100% nucleotide sequence similarity and were closely related to other porcine-origin p1 isolates. the sequences ... | 2018 | 28941198 |
