distribution of transferrin alleles in a population of polish merino sheep in the region of lower silesia.the frequency of 5 alleles of transferrins: tfa, tfb, tfc, tfd, tfe, forming 13 phenotypes found, was calculated for polish merino sheep. the high participation of allele tfd = 0.5464 was found. remaining frequencies were: tfa = 0.2780, tfb = 0.0074, tfc = 0.1561, tfe = 0.0121. investigated population in the number of 948 was in the state of genetic equilibrium, described by hardy-weinberg's rule.19817332447
