[the incidence of dirofilaria immitis in dogs of havana city]. | the significance of the knowledge of the incidence of dirofilaria immitis in the dog is emphasized since dirofilariasis is a zoonosis which produce subcutaneous tumors which clinical-etiological diagnosis is very difficult. adult forms are often located in the skin. the percentage of parasitized dogs found in the havana city is reported. one-hundred-and-two necropsies of gadder dogs depicted that 6,86% of them had dirofilaria immitis. results were negative in the remaining 93,13%. | 1977 | 354645 |
