[trichinelliasis in poland 1999].

the total 176 cases of trichinellosis in the north of poland in kujawsko-pomorskie district were registered. the source of infection was probably the meat of boar, not teased for trichinella spiralis. the presence of trichnella endemic areas in the north-east part of the country still determines the necessity of careful meat survey against trichinella spiralis.
