Monitoring of wild birds for Newcastle disease virus in north Queensland, Australia.Wild aquatic birds (WABs) are considered as reservoir hosts for Newcastle disease viruses (NDVs) and may act as vectors for transferring these viruses to poultry, causing outbreaks of disease.
