resource investigation and commodity identification were carried out for 28 samples of fructus amomi collected from 7 provinces. the results showed that fructus amomi used currently were mainly from the dried ripe-fruit of amomum villosum, a. villosum var. xanthioides or a. longiligulare. fructus amomi in market is nainly a. villosum which comes from yunnan and guangdong province.
